3D printing Smart Factory 'Planl3D'
Living props made with 3D printers
The designs uploaded to the shopping mall are designed and created by PlanL3D designers and freelance designers.
We are pursuing various designs rather than mass production, and if you place an order, we will make it and send it to you.
3D printers have become a new creative tool for designers.
Using a 3D printer, you can make products that can be used in real life without creating a 'mold'.
In the past, it was the designer's job to do design and prototype, but now the ideas of designers become products.
At PlanL3D, we want to show you dozens of designs every year.
Anything you want to design, create, use at home and sell at the company is posted on the Store.
If you have a 3D printer and want to make it yourself, you can purchase a data (STL) file and make it yourself.

about Plastic
Let's make your own what you like and need
From the standpoint of using plastic as a material, we design while thinking about how to make a product that can be used for a long time.
The 3D printing material that is currently mainly used is 'biodegradable resin' called PLA, but it is also plastic.
If you have studied plastic, you will probably feel that there is nothing better than plastic that can express all shapes. It is a very good material for designers.
However, it is a problem because it is made of raw materials (crude oil) that exist in nature, but cannot be returned to the original materials.
So when designing, I always think of plastic as the direction to use it.
Rather than mass production, I use what I want to have for a long time, and when it is used, send it again to recycle it and use it as a material for other products.

Use of various materials
We pursue a design that uses materials such as wood, iron, metal, and stone.
We want to find a way to save the environment as much as possible through interaction with nature. Most of the keywords in product development are green.
In such a method, a material having a virtuous cycle is used, and chemical materials are used only when absolutely necessary for safety and function improvement.
So, I avoid painting, I design a little plastic, reduce the adhesive, and pursue a design that won't get tired as long as possible.
If it is thrown away, it will be made into a material that will not damage nature even if someone recycles it or is buried in the ground.
We pursue a design that uses materials such as wood, iron, metal, and stone.
Although plastic uses PLA (biodegradable resin), it pursues a design that can last for a long time without taking advantage of plastic.
